We were just talking about the super bowl here and it was interesting to know that this year was a record year for the number of commercials, there was 48 minutes of commercials in an hour long football game. The question becomes how the hell do they fit them all in...are they stopping the game at various point to allow for them, extended half time, would be interesting to know?

That's one reason i've never been majorly into sports since high school, everything is far too commercialised and before you know it something that should last maybe an hour is still going on 3 hours later.

One of the few sports i've noticed that isn't affected much by it is rugby.
